Marxe is a PhD student coadvised by Dr. Good and Dr. Willis. He uses genetic and genomic methods to study the impacts of wildlife decline on populations and ecosystems. His research mainly focuses on North American bats.
Marxe completed his bachelor's in biology and written arts at Bard College in New York, and his master's in biology at Missouri State University.
